Sending as a gift? Everything we send comes in lovely recyclable packaging, with the option to add a gift note at checkout (printed on recycled, textured A6 card with our branding). As standard, the price is never printed on the packing slip.
We offer an in-house gift-wrapping service or you can purchase our beautiful handmade gift wrap and gift boxes to do this at home.

Wrap your gifts with love using our heart Lokta gift wrap. Handcrafted in Nepal, this eco-friendly wrapping paper combines traditional craftsmanship with a charming heart design. Perfect for making special moments feel even more meaningful. Naturally textured and beautifully finished, each sheet adds a warm, thoughtful touch before the gift is even opened.
Stronger and more durable than standard wrapping paper, Lokta paper is designed to be reused time and time again, or repurposed for crafts, scrapbooking, and creative projects. It’s also fully recyclable and completely plastic-free, making it a more conscious choice for everyday gifting.
Our beautiful gift wrap is handmade from Lokta, a fast-growing shrub that thrives in the foothills of the Himalayas. If left unharvested, it can dominate areas of forest and limit the growth of other plants, so its careful harvesting helps support greater biodiversity and a healthier ecosystem. The fibres are carefully boiled, cleaned, and beaten by hand to create a natural pulp, then mixed with water and poured into shallow bamboo and canvas frames to form each sheet, which is left to dry in the sun. Finally, skilled artisans add the finishing details, transforming it into richly textured, acid-free paper.
Every piece is made by Fair Trade artisans, helping to support local communities and fund important social initiatives through our trusted partners.
Because each sheet is handmade, no two are exactly alike, but every one is crafted with care, skill, and attention to detail.

Our colourful recycled notebooks and beautifully handmade gift wrap are sourced from WFTO members Get Paper Industries (GPI), an incredible, socially aware cooperative in Nepal.
The charity work they do in the local area has earnt them many awards, from their support of people affected by HIV and Aids, to establishing schools to support the education of underprivileged children.
Milan, a founding member, is a man with an amazing passion for life, and he and his team are making a huge difference, as we’ve been fortunate enough to see with our own eyes. As our own small contribution to their work, Paper High sponsor 10 girls to attend one of their schools.
