Choose from 6 colours, each with a hand printed metallic gold pattern, and tied in sustainable jute string. The thick, luxurious texture of the handmade paper makes it easy to reuse many times.

Sending as a gift? Everything we send comes in lovely recyclable packaging, with the option to add a gift note at checkout (printed on recycled, textured A6 card with our branding). As standard, the price is never printed on the packing slip.
We offer an in-house gift-wrapping service or you can purchase our beautiful handmade gift wrap and gift boxes to do this at home.

Make your presents as special on the outside as they are on the inside with our Lokta paper gift wrapping service. Using handmade and sustainable Lokta paper, a shrub that grows in the foothills of the Himalayas, this service ensures your gifts are beautifully presented in eco-friendly, artisanal wrapping. The natural fibres of Lokta paper give it a rich texture and strength, creating a luxurious alternative to conventional wrapping paper.
Available in a variety of colours and patterns, each sheet of Lokta paper is unique, showcasing the traditional craftsmanship of Nepalese artisans. Your gift will be carefully wrapped by hand, tied with a jute string, and finished with thoughtful attention to detail. The result is wrapping that feels both elegant and personal, turning even the simplest gift into something truly memorable.
After the Lokta is harvested, it is boiled, cleaned, and beaten with wooden mallets to produce a fibre pulp. It is then mixed with water and poured into a shallow frame made of bamboo poles and canvas, before it is dried in the sun. Finally details are added to the paper by the skilled artisans, creating the beautiful, acid-free paper.
Due to the handmade nature of our Lokta paper gift wrapping service, each one is unique, but loveliness comes as standard.

Nepal
Our colourful recycled notebooks and beautifully handmade gift wrap are sourced from WFTO members Get Paper Industries (GPI), an incredible, socially aware cooperative in Nepal.
The charity work they do in the local area has earnt them many awards, from their support of people affected by HIV and Aids, to establishing schools to support the education of underprivileged children.
Milan, a founding member, is a man with an amazing passion for life, and he and his team are making a huge difference, as we’ve been fortunate enough to see with our own eyes. As our own small contribution to their work, Paper High sponsor 10 girls to attend one of their schools.
