More information

The colourful stripes are made from the discarded offcuts of the massive garment industry in India by an NGO devoted to promoting wasteland development, women’s empowerment in rural areas and the fair treatment of its artisans, these bags represent a new way to create sustainable products that not only look good, but do good too.

Individually hand made they are also made to last so that each and every rug is made with the same care, attention and skill as brand new ones that come from the same makers. You can be sure that these ‘recycled’ rugs will not only add a touch of vibrant colour to your home, but will do so for years to come.

Due to the handmade nature of our products each one is unique, but loveliness comes as standard.

Care instructions: When it needs a wash, we would recommend that this rug should be professionally dry cleaned. As they’re crafted using natural dyes, we cannot guarantee they are colour fast, and would recommend the use of an underlay over a light-coloured carpet.

Check out our Care Guide for tips on giving your Paper High products a long and happy life.
