This frame has a glass window to display and protect the photograph, and a stand for portrait or landscape orientation on flat surfaces.
Our Dhari design products are made entirely by hand using traditional skills handed down from one generation to the next. Crafted from papri wood, large planks are coloured with natural dyes, before being cut into thin strips. These strips are then individually joined together, to create the unique, colourful design.
Due to the handmade nature of these products each one is unique, but loveliness comes as standard.

Make a Difference
These products are expertly handcrafted by TARA Projects (Trade Alternative Reform Action), a World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) and founding Fair Trade Forum India member.
Established in the early 1970s, they are dedicated to creating opportunities and support for economically disadvantaged home-based artisans and crafts people in Delhi. Over the years the project has extended its work into the adjoining states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
The project provides services to enable the production and marketing of handicrafts following Fair Trade principles, as well as providing education and support to empower their grassroots artisans. The heart of their work is dedicated to eradicating poverty, by fighting against exploitation and illiteracy amongst their producers and working communities. They help to fund schools and empower women as part of their drive to support marginalised groups.
