This frame has a glass window to display and protect the photograph, and a stand for portrait or landscape orientation on flat surfaces.
Our frames are made entirely by hand using traditional skills handed down from one generation to the next. The front is crafted from resin, painted and pieced together to create the unique design. The structure of the frame is crafted from mango wood. Mango trees have an incredibly long life, but eventually stop bearing fruit and are replaced by younger trees. As India produces, by far, the most mangos in the world, this results in a huge industry using one of the most sustainable woods known to man.
Due to the handmade nature of these products each one is unique, but loveliness comes as standard.

Make a Difference
These products are expertly handcrafted by TARA Projects (Trade Alternative Reform Action), a World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) and founding Fair Trade Forum India member.
Established in the early 1970s, they are dedicated to creating opportunities and support for economically disadvantaged home-based artisans and crafts people in Delhi. Over the years the project has extended its work into the adjoining states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
The project provides services to enable the production and marketing of handicrafts following Fair Trade principles, as well as providing education and support to empower their grassroots artisans. The heart of their work is dedicated to eradicating poverty, by fighting against exploitation and illiteracy amongst their producers and working communities. They help to fund schools and empower women as part of their drive to support marginalised groups.
