Indra Embossed Leather Bound Journal A4

ILNBA4P

Our glorious A4 embossed leather journal with clasp is truly an item of desire - it makes for a great travel journal, inspiration book, leather diary or notebook. The ornate brass clasp makes it extra special.

Each journal is handmade and contains 125 pages of unlined khadda paper. Khadda paper is made from recycled cotton, is acid-free and is a beautiful paper to write or draw on.

The embossing on the cover has been done with small individual handmade tools, making each A4 journal as unique as you are. The embossed pattern might not be the same as on the image but will be just as lovely and carefully made.

The leather used is a by-product of the meat industry in India and is tanned using only natural dyes.

Due to the handmade nature of these products, colour and designs may slightly vary, but loveliness comes as standard.

Product Description

Details

All of our leather bound journals are handmade by a small family business in Rajasthan, India. They have been expertly crafted using a mixture of contemporary and traditional methods and the pages have been bound by hand so they are strong and perfect for traveling.

The paper used in these journals is handmade using recycled cotton (also known as khadda, kaddi or khaddi) leftover from the massive garment industry in India. It is acid-free because we only use unbleached cotton and it produces a beautiful paper, easy to write, draw or paint on. We don't recommend using fountain pen with this type of handmade paper.
