INDULGE IN A DELICIOUS HOT CHOCOLATE
Method for 1 serving
- Stir 150ml of milk (however you like it) with 50ml of double cream, 1/2 tsp dark brown soft sugar, 1/2 an orange (zested) and spices* together in a saucepan
- Bring to a simmer over a low heat
- Remove from the heat and pour through a sieve into a jug (discard the clove and orange zest)
- Pour back the infused milk into the pot and stir in 2 drops of vanilla extract and 50g of dark chocolate (chopped), until the chocolate has melted and is smooth
- Serve in your favourite mug and top with whipped cream and crushed gingerbread biscuits
*1 pinch of ground ginger, 1 pinch of ground cinnamon, 1 clove.
