Our handcrafted bird house makes a charming addition to your outdoor area. It adds a vibrant touch to your garden and is perfect to welcome little birds or to display as a unique decoration. This nester is skilfully crafted by Fair Trade artisans in India using recycled metal, cotton and munja.
Each nest box is a different mix of colours, making each one unique.

Sending as a gift? Everything we send comes in lovely recyclable packaging, with the option to add a gift note at checkout (printed on recycled, textured A6 card with our branding). As standard, the price is never printed on the packing slip.

This is a small-sized bird nester from our birdhouse range. Made from recycled metal, cotton and munja, this sustainable nester can be hung with its long loop attachment. Every birdhouse is unique and has a different mix of colours, but we know you’ll love what you’ll get!
Munja is a tough grass (saccharum munja) with great natural water-repellent abilities, and has been sustainably sourced from across India.
Position these in ivy, bushes, hedges or trees to give birds somewhere cosy to shelter. During the breeding season, locate the nester in thick cover to help reduce the risk of predation.
This beautiful birdhouse features a 4.5cm entrance, which is ideal for bigger birds such as Starlings and Green Woodpeckers.

This product has been made by Noah’s Ark, a fantastic member of both the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) and Fair Trade Forum India.
With their mission to commit themselves and the producer groups they work with to Fair Trade principles, their goal is to change the lives of grassroots artisans. The organisation works with around 49 talented producer groups, representing approximately 500 artisans collectively working towards the eradication of poverty.
