The rugs are all hand made from clean, recycled waste rags by skilled craftspeople working as part of a Fair Trade organisation called ACP in Nepal.


The rug has the same pattern on both sides so can be turned over to increase the life of the rug.

making a difference acp This beautiful rug was lovingly crafted by the Association for Craft Producers (ACP).

Based in the Kathmandu valley in Nepal, the not-for-profit, Fair Trade organisation and World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) member provides design, marketing, management, and technical services to low-income Nepalese craft producers. The shared expertise of ACP means they are able to blend traditional craft with modern design, working in partnership with us to create beautiful products exclusively for Paper High.

Truly inspirational in their mission to support the local crafts people, they bring their work to a global market in exchange for fair wages and benefits. Also committed to preserving the environment, its Kathmandu offices have a rainwater harvesting system and wastewater treatment plant.
