Anjali Handmade Cotton Rag Rug

Availability: In stock

These vibrant recycled rag rugs are sure to add a welcome splash of colour to any room. The beautiful colours are rich and contemporary and will bring joy and happiness to your floor!

The rugs are all hand made from clean, recycled waste rags by skilled craftspeople working as part of a Fair Trade organisation called ACP in Nepal.

The rug has the same pattern on both sides so can be turned over to increase the life of the rug.

We recommend you use rug holds to prevent the rugs from slipping and the potential for dark colours transferring onto light coloured flooring beneath.

We also recommend these rugs are dry cleaned.

Due to the handmade nature of these products, colours will slightly vary but loveliness comes as standard.

These beautiful products are made by ACP.

The Association for Craft Producers (ACP) are based in the Kathmandu valley in Nepal and are a not-for- profit, Fair Trade organisation and WFTO (World Fair Trade Organisation) member providing design, marketing, management, and technical services to low-income Nepalese craft producers.

ACP are inspirational in their mission to support the local crafts people and bring their work to a global market in exchange for fair wages and benefits. The shared expertise of ACP means that they can blend traditional craft with modern design and work in partnership with us to create beautiful products exclusively for Paper High

ACP are committed not only to Fair Trade but the environment too; for example, its Kathmandu workshops and offices have installed a waste water treatment plant and have a rainwater harvesting system. We are really excited to be working with ACP and are looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship.

You can buy these products happy in the knowledge that you are directly helping the people who have made them.
